This beer is goddamned delicious. Probably my favorite beer, kicking Ayinger Celebrator to second place.

This bastard makes me want to spend the extra 100 bucks to install a nitro tap in the kegerator.

beer thread, go!

guess not then. Everyone would rather bitch about beer than actually enjoy it.

I enjoy cheap ass Natural Ice. So smooth that it's beer and drink it.

Word of advice...

the colorful the label, or the minimalist a label is... the craft beer is crap.

The thing with craft beer is take your bare minimum amount of hops and rye to make regular beer... then add a bunch of artificially flavored syrup to make your winter lagger, spring lager, etc. then sell it to idiots that buy things based on looks...

case in point... every sam adams
every craft beer

There is another thread for shitposting about wrong opinions, and it is not this one. Please go to the other one.

Ever had real beer in Germany?

Real Irish beer, not that Guinness crap?

All of these craft beers are gimmicks, like flavored water.

I agree. But there is already another thread for this.

>that beer

Very extreme. I can tell you are a man of discriminating taste. Too bad /ck/ is overrun by defenders of piss swill pilsners, ales, and lagers with no flavor. They're just unable to handle real imperial beer.

Whats the best entry level beer for someone who has only drank Budweiser and Yuengling and hated both?

Just pick 6 random beers you haven't tried. Try to pick some different kinds: a stout, various ales, a lager, maybe a weissbier.

>tfw he picks dos equis, gennesee cream ale, leinenkugel's, shiner bock, rolling rock, and magic hat no 7

This is a terrible idea and you should feel terrible.

If you avoid the most expensive beers, you likely avoid the most extreme ones. I'd say it's fair advice, rather asking about "entry level" beer on /ck/. We can't really know what he'd like.

>> No.4353356

>>4353349

He's already had the most exterme ones. Considering all the shit flinging about pisswater we get around here for stuff that isn't actually pisswater, you'd think people would care when people are drinking actual pisswater. But I guess you'd rather just shit on people who like a properly crafted brown ale because it doesn't have 25,000 IBU and 100 bro points on beer advocate, while encouraging noobs to buy dos equis becuase it won't intimidate them.

To be honest I didn't recognize any of the beers in your post, and I just assumed they were very extreme and you feared that picking random beers might scare him away from certain styles.

I "learned" drinking beer by just trying lots of new beers. Eventually I learned what I liked and didn't.

Sweden. I might have seen Dos Equis here, but I'm not certain. I'm sure haven't tried it.

The "standard beers" here aren't really pisswater, rather they taste fairly bad. Overall, the beer culture here is pretty good. Lots of places with good selection and many high quality domestic beers.

I've never even been to Texas.

It's cheap and pleasant to drink. It's good at those things. Not outstanding as beers go but good.
