I bought this on a whim once.

Walking is my hobby and I take 30+ mile trips. Sunflower seeds are good company, but be sure to take a lot of water or have a plan to refill at some point. They keep your mouth busy which is something I miss since I've stopped smoking (10+ years and strong!).

There's nothing like it really. I put a handful on one side of my mouth, suck off all the seasoning (if any), and slowly move them to the other side. Crush with your teeth, remove the seed with your tongue, and spit. At first you'll have trouble coordinating all of this, but after awhile it becomes second nature. Great source of protein and fat/calories. I'll eat a sandwich bag full of them and it is enough to satisfy my lunch appetite.
