Get rid of the ham. I always thought that ham for breakfast was fucking retarded when you could just have bacon or pork sausage.

Yeah, my roommate gets the monster biscuit when we go. I just get the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. That's PLENTY as it is. The monster biscuit is fuckhuge. I don't know why anyone needs three different meats on their breakfast sandwich, but whatever. Fatties gonna fat.

That seems a little excessive for me...

and I enjoy their monster burgers...

>> No.4332230

Isn't that pic from 2004? I have to give them credit for keeping the Monster items on their menu this long. Figured they would have died off like the Atkins items.. unless those are still around.. who the hell wants a burger wrapped in lettuce..

>> No.4332240

You can make at least 4 separate sandwiches with that thing. Fucking Americlaps. You might as well add a whole cornish hen to that thing while you're at it.

>> No.4332242

I got one for breakfast before class once
I had to immediately go home and take a fucking nap
Still pretty tasty. I think Hardee's is my favorite fast food burger place.

>> No.4332243

>>4332230
Actually the burger wrapped in lettuce is really good. I'm in no way dieting, but getting one with no mayo...it really brings out the taste of the meat. It's nice to get one every once and a while. I'd recommend it.

>> No.4332248

But if you wanted to "bring out the taste of the meat" surely you would get such a creation at a better burger joint than fucking Hardee's.. or make one yourself.

>> No.4332270

if you broke that down into its base components you'd have a normal breakfast, so what's wrong with it? one biscuit, one egg, three smallish slices of bacon, one sausage patty, and what looks like two or three slices of deli ham. you're basically getting your whole breakfast in a sandwich instead of individual pieces.

it's probably going to be pretty greasy and shit and i'm sure people are going to buy it with a side of even greasier potatoes, though.

Very true, but if I was dead set on having great food, I'd just cook at home and wouldn't be at Carl's in the first place.
Or I'd go to the local Mediterranean place and get the peda burger. It's a lamb/beef mix and its one of the best burgers I've ever had.

It has less bacon on it. The Bacon Egg and Cheese only has Bacon, so they add extra Bacon to make it around the same size. Given the Bacon Bacon has two types of meat, they use less of each, and it still comes to around the same size.

They are still in Philly. Every breakfast sammich has a bagel version. No idea how well they sell.

Conversely, they had a steak version of the breakfast burrito and I'll be fucked if they didn't pull it from the menu after 2 weeks. They even ran ads for it.

>> No.4335331

I bet McFaggotry learned some lessons from the McRibs scheme. Make it elusive and exclusive and you will sell more in a short period than having it available year round.

And just think, since you can't satisfy that craving for steak bagel, it will be in the back of your mind and hopefully next time you eat fast food it will come back to haunt you. Is still eat at TB mostly for my nostalgia for the chilito.
