The Filet of Fish went up $2.10, an increase of more than 100%!
>paying $4 for a tiny square of minced sea shit.

i've noticed lately that wendy's, BK, and McD have all started using the phrasing

"Wild caught Alaskan fish" when describing their sandwiches.

previously they used to use a seasonal fish, whatever they could get cheap, and it wasn't a sustainable fishing practice.

i did a little research on this because of the change in phrasing. mostly because I was like "wtf if alaskan fish.. is that a type of fish?"

it turns out they all have decided to start using fish caught in a sustainable manner and they are all pretty much switching to alaskan pollock fish.

this makes me wonder how it can be "wild caught" and "sustainable" if the 3 biggest chain fast food joints in america are all using the same "wild caught," "sustainable" fish crop.

Seems impossible to me.

In any case, if you think 4 bucks is too much for a sandwich, stop eating at McD's and find a cheaper place to buy a fish sandwich. hint, you probably can't lard ass.

It's McDonald's, ignore it.

This is pretty much my favourite burger at McDonald's but I never order it because it's so expensive. It's too bad the price is increasing yet again.

I hope those come to Canadian.

Lots of people think the Filet O'Fish is disgusting, etc. but have never tried it. I remember in highschool they still had the "McDeals". We would get really high and end up at the McDonald's drivethru for the McDeals.

One guy would get the fish on the Friday because it was cheap, and I was always repulsed by the idea of fish at McDonald's, even though he swore it was good. Like 7 years later I finally tried it and it is one of my favourite McDonald's items.

My PC, laptop, and wii were all gifted to me. The PC and laptop when the person got a newer/better machine, and the Wii because a buddy just wanted to play games together.

Filet of Fish is a $1 only on Fridays where I live and holy fuck there's a long line at the drive through and inside. I get a weeks worth for my dear mother because those shitty fish sandwiches bring her joy.

I had no idea there were so many people that like those.
Me? Nope.

>> No.4311351

They are $3.24 converted from euros, which is considered to be pretty cheap for a mcDonald's burger over here.

No, I'm British.

Because of the offers McDonald's always do, I can get a Big Mac and fries for either £2 or £2.50, depending on the area, while just the Filet o' Fish is about £3.50 so it's not really worth it.
