Hey, /ck/

Next week, my room mates are going to Belize for spring break. I normally am the one who cooks, and most of us try to watch our weight, we try to eat very healthy.

This is pretty much my last chance for a few months to be able to cook something very unhealthy. Looking for unhealthy things such as the double pizza burger.

Pic very related

and here i am making scotch egg wrong

>> No.4310166

Something me and my friends like to make every weekend at least one is macaroni and bacon. Just to make it even more unhealthy the cook usually dumps all the bacon grease in the macaroni and butter.
Not ass-bustingly unhealthy like the pizza burger but it's pretty bad. And delicious.

OP here. My girlfriend was born in America to Brit parents, She'd kill me if I made scotch eggs like this. I suppose that I could call them something entirely different, though.

HEY!
I've been making that sandwich for years.
I used to call it the Mouth Melter. I don't add bacon though, and I only make it when I have leftover pot roast or extra steak. I butter and toast the bread shell, then I put down a layer of sliced Muenster, then sauteed mushrooms and onions (to which has been added a little garlic, thyme, and balsamic), then another layer of Muenster, then either pot roast or steak, then one slice of cheese to cover the top, then the bread top, then wrap in foil and bake. I also don't press it afterwards. I just let it sit and cool for a good amount of time (but not until it's completely cooled), and it turns out perfect.

I'm all about ridiculous unhealthy food and all but this kind of Epic meal timey type stuff always makes me uncomfortable.

I try to normally eat healthy. We actually eat meat maybe once a month, and usually substitute tofu or vegan choices for almost all meals. This is sort of a last hurrah until later this year.

That being said, I'd love to eat meat with every meal, like I did growing up. Unfortunately, everyone the two people I live with that make 70% of the rent are vegans, so my gf and I have to deal with being uber healthy right now.

But no man, everyone's choices are pretty acceptable, and it's cool that it makes you uncomfortable. I'm just sorry that it does that for you.
