any good and/or easy recipes involving pâté?

currently sitting on a few pounds of that shit, don't know what to use it for other than a spread

>> No.4281300

spread it on... oh, sorry. nevermind.

Wellington.

I don't think it's really used for anything else, not that I know or can think of, anyway. What's wrong with using pate as a spread?

i had a ban mi the other day that was really good, maybe you could use it on sandwiches in place of mayonnaise. that doesn't get you very far though

I guess it just gets boring putting it on bread/crackers. Maybe I'm not being creative enough?

Use it IN sandwiches. You could also try finishing a pasta sauce with it. Or stuffing olives, mushroom caps, hollowed artichokes, etc with it.

Be careful with pate and heat, it's butter and cooked liver. I'm not sure how that'll go.

If you have a shitton of it, I guess you can experiment. But considering what it is, I can't really see it being used any other way than ... with bread and crackers.

Like I said, I know it's used to coat beef loin in beef Wellington, but I think that the butter is absorbed partially by the Duxelle and the pastry, leaving the liver around the meat.

If I had a whole lot of it, I'd get fat. I'd just eat it on bread and crackers.
