I actually have the Magic bullet, and allthough the advertisements are fucking horrible, this product actually is great, not a life saver, not a "zomg i can't possibly live without" but just an awesome small insta-smoothie maker, just what you need

/fit/-/ck/abomination here. if you are just making single serving stuff, then get the magic bullet. my mom bought my bf and i a knock-off one and i love it. easy as fuck clean up, single serving sizes, lids, etc etc. you can double it as a shit-tier food processor.

Go figure.

Yeah those things are perfect for quick drinks. I put a banana, a scoop of peanut butter, greek yogurt, and milk in there, blend it all up, and stick it in the fridge until my breakfast is done.

The magic bullet is actually pretty great. I had to remind myself for a while that it's not healthy to eat smoothies for every meal.

>> No.4272491

You can get similar bullet shaped blenders that are just as good, for $20. I got a $10 set a few years ago on Black Friday, use it weekly, and it's still in great shape.

Smoothies? Pic related, the people behind Magic Bullet made a dedicated smoothie maker called Nutribullet. That's what you want. Better for smoothies. I have one, does its job.

Go watch some Nutribullet smoothie vids/review on youtube.

if money is no object, this

Pros:
will last for freaking ever in home kitchen

variable speed dial with excellent graduation in speed, independent of on/off switch

excellent power and blending mechanics

can buy replacement parts if you somehow manage to mess something up

loud as fuck (for that rockstar morning)

large capacity

cons:
expensive as fuck upfront (though durability decreases cost immensely over time)

loud as fuck (for that hangover morning)

>> No.4274862

>>4272605

so other then it's durability does it do anything different?

blend better?

double as a food processor?

The motor will never burn out. In the kitchen we have yet to burn out any.

They mix stuff really smooth. Have blended whole lobsters with shell and all.

Not really good as a food processor because of the way blades are shaped. I think people use them to mill flour too or something. You can look up the uses for a vita mix other than blending.
They are the best blender you can buy though.

Sorry, didn't see anyone reply. Yeah, as other anon said, it blends better than any other blender, aside for maybe a few insanely expensive pro stick blenders I've used. The speed dial on it gives you precise control of the blending, so it's easy to keep a good vortex going (essential for even, smooth blends) even as the motor is running. It'll go at really high RPM for a long time before it starts to heat up. Possible to take a liquid from chilled to steaming hot on the friction from blending alone, not that I'd recommend that. It's hard to explain, but if you use one, you'll understand.

You probably only hate it because it's loud as fuck, and you can't handle the sound of PUREPOWAH

>> No.4277057

I had the mashit bullshit for a 1-2+ years. The fucking plastic blades are shit, break after a year. Cost ~$8 to replace or $5 for shipping if on warranty.

Sold the shit on ebay. Now I just use an old Hamilton Beach blender that works just as good or better for shakes. And the clean-up is just as fast or faster.

So just buy the cheaper blender you can find.

>> No.4277072

OP get a vitamix. Sell plasma, suck cock, whatever you have to the vitamix is worth it.

>> No.4277582

I've only used my Magic Bullet for sauces and it even has trouble with jalapenos. It was a gift so I'm not complaining.

My mom bought me a vita mix as a gift when I finished university... kind of odd but I'm still loving the shit out of it. I make a smoothie for lunch almost every day and it can literally blitz a 1-2L smoothie of frozen fruit smooth in like 5 seconds.
