Hey so would you eat this?

>> No.4268432

Fork and knife. I'd mop up the juice with the rice.

>> No.4268452

Stop taking gigantic pictures off your food. It looks like puke.

plate full of overcooked, boiled mush

>no thanks

>> No.4268842

no, I would not eat that. It is swimming in various juices. It looks like such a waste of lamb. Why is it so, wet? what are all of those peppers doing choking up the lamb? I don't care that the plate is chipped.

yeah, it doesnt look too good. like as if everything was steamed. i would still eat it though

>> No.4268869

I'd eat it but I would question why you're serving soup on a plate

>> No.4268873

>>4268423

You should be executed, for what you did to those carrots.

>> No.4268874

im just trying to figure out what is that mush in the bottom quadrant of the plate? and like the other guy said, everything looks steamed. but it shouldnt look steamed, it should look roasted.

what is wrong with them exactly? they just look mushy to me, overcooked. i wouldnt want to eat them.

Sauerkraut

>> No.4268906

Looks a bit overdone, but yeah, I'd probably eat it.

Genuinely surprised by the responses in this thread, seeing as /ck/ usually hates picky eaters.

Picky? Yeah, I am picky in the context that I want my food to taste good. This dish was poorly prepared, I would eat it if it was not so....soggy?

>> No.4268946

>>4268906

Are you kidding? /ck/ is full of the most finicky eaters ever, although most of them are probably joking. I can't count how many times I've seen responses like "beef looks 0.0002% too marbled, WOULD FEED TO MY DOG" etc

>> No.4268950

>>4268423

The one thing that really kills the whole dish for me is that you didn't even thicken the sauce...a roux or some cold butter to finish...damn just reduce the damn sauce if you have to.

>> No.4269313

>>4268950

Sauce doesn't always need to be thick!

>> No.4269323

Carrots look overdone, the rice looks like it could've cooked a bit more, the vegetables on that meat look a bit too soggy, and I can't identify what's closest towards the front.
The juice doesn't even bug me, it just looks very sloppy. You can do better OP.

>> No.4269329

>>4269313
in this case the pan juices make the whole thing a bit water logged. Less pan juices over top would have sufficed if you didn't want to make a thickened sauce. The food is drowning. I am curious as to what temp the lamb was done, a cross section would have been nice.

Your plate presentation needs a bit of work.

I love carrots overdone. Carrots are at their best when they are soft and sweet.
