/ck/'s opinion on Julia Child?

>> No.4246939

8/10 would let cook for me

>> No.4246941 [DELETED]

God Tier. One of the few that actually made TV shows people could learn from instead of it being some hollywood production.

>> No.4246949

7/10, would bang.
Would also stick around for breakfast the next morning.

Amazing. I wish cooking shows would go back to her style - more food, more cooking, and zero pretentiousness.

Jaques Pepin still does great stuff on PBS

Agreed, they need to stop the hollywood production crap, dump the background music, and stop having a camera pitching rolling and yawing all the time... The shows these days piss me off and I don't have the patience for them.

>> No.4246962 [DELETED]

Yeah, he's good too, but PBS fucks everything up with their agenda. Mr Pepin can control his production so get's over the PBS crap in general, but there's no reason background music or a moving camera image like their too cheap to mount the camera on a tripod.

PBS really went downhill after some chick became president of the corporation back in the 90's. It really shilled out. They're not even capable of calling commercials what they are, they call them support messages and 100% filled with agenda.

Another stupid thing on PBS, they do the drama drums... so everything has to be dramatic. It's like some lame ass standard hollywood production and unwatchable to me. I just turn the shit off. Once I see the moving camera image and hear the drama drums, that shit is turned off.

>> No.4246974 [DELETED]

PBS / NPR / and BBC... NOW WITH OVERPRODUCTION AND 500% MORE DRAMA AND AGENDA and 100% unwatchable and unlistenable, none of those channels are worth my time these days.

Except Diane Rehm is still an immortal interview goddess. Still your libelous tongue.

Dat bad bitch taught me how to perfectly fry up a scrambled egg for an omelette.

For that, she's a 10 in my book.

I don't cook often; I just like watching Julia Child.

>> No.4247748

I adore her. I try one of her recipes now and again but have a tendency to screw them up.

Bitch taught me how to make bagels. 10/10

Shes great!
my son was born on what would have been her 100th birthday.
Hopefully that's a good sign!
