I only ever have one or two bottle of alcohol in the house at a time, Just out of virtue.

My last 750mL bottle i purchased on the 20th of of January, and its on its way to being empty. thats 17 days.

How long does a bottle usually last, or how long is it supposed to last?

Depends on what it is.

Gin - a week
Bourbon - 4 days
Vodka - Months
Rye - about a week
Single Malt - 2 months
Wine - a day

OP doesnt drink often, and i dont drink heavily obviously. I have about 2oz every now and again, ill mix it in some coffee or hot chocolate.

I think 2 weeks is an appropriate time for a depleted bottle. more than that and it seems like too big of a money drain, for me at least.
