I can't stop pouring this shit down my throat. Chipotle (the burrito place) introduce it to me and goddamn if it isn't fucking delicious.

shit's spicy as hell!
I like nandos bbq sauce. Hot but flavoursome!

>> No.4212554

For smoky flavored sauces, try the chipotle cholula sauce. Not as vinegary as Tabasco

I don't find it spicy and I have a ow tolerance for spicy foods. Regular Tobasco is much spicier to me.

Yeah, it has that BBQ sauce quality to it. Bretty gud.

Bummer.

I like dis. Not painfully hot, just adds the right amount of heat.

They were on sale as a dollar off here once, taking it from $2.48 down to $1.48. At that same time, there were coupons for another dollar off. 48c each, you ask? That's right, mofo. 48c EACH. I bought around 18 bottles, which was all they had.

Gave some away. Used some. Still have some in a box. Expired by now. If not, I'd sell some online. I'll just keep using them until the flavor spoils. Not too worried about the expiration on a bottle of vinegar and pepper sauce.

I buy both green and red el yucateco by the case but I've never tried or even seen that kind.

>Not painfully hot

Why do people try to sound tough like this? It is really hot. I like it too.

Yes there are much, much hotter ones out there and they are basically useless unless you're making a fucking gigantic pot of chili. Then you can use 1/2 of a drop or some retarded bullshit.

What I meant was I'm not crying and chugging the milk. It's hot, but I can deal with it if used in moderation.

>> No.4212658

>>4212652
Fair enough. You did specify with "painfully", rather than simply "it's not hot", so yeah.

I guess it's just something I've thought of addressing in the past. Like this one guy once told me that jalapenos are about as spicy as a bell pepper... come on. That's just being stupid.

The best hot sauce I've ever had. It's got just enough kick to it to make it actually enjoyable, plus it actually has flavor instead of tasting like motor oil

I haven't seen it in the stores but my local taco joint has it. I assume they get it at a mexican grocery store in the bad part of town.

How does /ck/ feel about Sriracha?

Is it automatically hated because it has a weird hipster sort of stigma?

Yep. You got it.

I like it though. But I'm not autistic about food, so I don't care who does or does not like it.

I don't really like it. It has a spicy bite right at the beginning which kills any flavor for me.

I have to admit, the Tabasco people pulled out a winner with this one. The original sauce isn't for everyone (though I do firmly believe it has its uses, mostly *in* things rather than *on* them, chili for example), but the chipotle flavor has the closest to universal acclaim for a hot sauce I've ever seen. Fucking everyone loves it.

I use it on sandwiches and burritos mostly.

>> No.4214048

Get the real deal. Chipotle in adobo, or Mexican Bufalo brand (about $1.50 a bottle).
