im going to a chinese buffet today and i was wondering if you guys had any protips to get as much as i can for my money?

Eat meat and seafood, avoid rice and noodles.

Even then, it's difficult to really get much for your money at a buffet, even if you gorge yourself. Buffets buy the cheapest bulk deals on low quality foods that they can get their hands on in order to maximize profit.

I never really care as much about 'winning' at Chinese buffet, since honestly, everyone is a winner at a Chinese buffet.

My faves are:

-sesame chicken
-lo mein
-wontons
-wontons
-wontons
-wontons
-fukken wontons

and banana pudding, because every self-respecting chinese buffet has banana pudding for whatever weird reason.
