Where do you get your spices?
What spices do you keep on hand?

Mostly the Dollar General. They're 50 cents there, except for hipster shit like cinnamon which I don't bother with. Pepper is good enough.

my retarded kitchen only has suitable cabinet space over my oven, right next to my fridge. "let's make them store their spices in the hottest part of the kitchen" fuckers

seriously though, outside of theft or foraging, and subsequently poisoning yourself, find a store that has bulk spices, where you can buy as much or as little as you want

Why do you hate pepper?

I get them at the grocery store. McCormick and whatnot typical grocery store brands.

For most spices, I go to a little hole-in-the-wall Indian grocer. Typically I can get a big bag of spices there for about half the price of one the little tins you'd find in a big chain grocery.

I'm not taking pictures at 1 AM, but I have a massive spice collection, everything from the ordinary cinnamon and black pepper to star anise and asafoetida. Cumin, nutmeg, and urfa biber are some of my favorites.

Do you really wanna know? I've accumulated quite a diverse and formidable spice rack, I think I must have like fifty different kinds.

You have to hate pepper to like cinnamon?

This is exactly what I do. A pound of cumin for $3? Yes please.

I don't eat Indian food, though, so I only ever go in there for spices.
