Sup /ck/, so I'm allergic to fruits. I know, it sounds like bullshit. Anyways, I was hoping if you guys knew any alternatives to getting my daily dose of fruits without breaking out into hives. Thanks in advace

>pic kinda related
I can't eat apples

I have an allergy to many fruits but it only applies when the fruits are raw. For me anyway, if you simply cook them then there are zero problems. Heat deactivates whatever protein it is that I am allergic to. Perhaps this applies to you too?

Allow me to rephrase this, I want an alternative that still gives me the same sweet taste

Just stick to candy and popsicles then.

oooohkay then, switching to retard-mode:

cook your fruit first. then eat it. Now you get the sweet taste, and it won't set off your allergies. That means you can eat cooked fruit dishes, like preserves, pies, baked apples, fruit sauces, or any kind of fruit that's in a can (All canned foods are cooked as part of the canning process).

Adzuki beans are asian desserts, they're sweet without being blatantly sugary, however, Im not seeing any fruit flavors.

Made from extracts and concentrates, but maybe you could still eat? No sugars it says.

There is nothing in fruit you can't get from other sources. For the vitamin content, I recommend eating lots of eggs, carrots, kale/spinach, sweet potatoes and broccoli. If you can, tomatoes and avocados are great too. Squash, zucchini... look for "colorful" vegetables.

For the simple sugar content, you can go to milk, yogurt, cereal and peanut butter.

Oh, hmm.

Look into desserts that use sweet potatoes, carrots, or onions. They exist. Also look into asian desserts that use red bean, and any desserts that use eggs and milk.

Cook your fruit. Just like a previous anon posted it corrects the problem. I have the exact same allergy, raw fruit is problematic but cooked is A-OK.

>> No.4209538

sounds like oral allergy syndrome. does it happen with all fruits? i can't eat apples, pears, dates and some others raw but watermelon and grapes are fine.

>> No.4209560

Does your nose start running if you eat fruits?

>> No.4209567

Sounds paranoid, but I think allergies didn't exist before the 20th century; I think processed food and your living environment create this strange illnesses. If this carries on, people won't even be able to eat anything that isn't synthesised and then we'll die out lol.

What >>4209435 said was pretty good. Go for lots of green vegetables and herbs with a high mineral content (brocolli, spinach, coriander, cauliflower, etc...) and a large amount of simple carbohydrates like sweet potato and banana/plantains. Maybe you won't have an allergy after a while.
