/ck/, do you strategically build your work lunch sandwiches?

<<bread, mustard, meat, pickle, meat, cheese, meat, mayo, bread

I keep the mustard and mayo separate because I don't like when they mix for some reason
picked don't touch the bread for obvious reasons
cheese is separate from liquid condiments because I've noticed a weird occurrence where they seem to "melt" the cheese by the time I'm ready to eat and it's kinda gross

never noticed the cheese-melting thing.

but what i do care about is that tomatoes never touch the bread directly (of course) and that i apply salt and pepper on something they stick on, e.g. mustard, butter, tomato, cucumber.

Gotta make sure you don't moisten the bread, if I actually have sandwiches, I usually make sure that the salad is sandwiched between the cheese and ham or chicken. Honestly most of the time I sjut eat plain toast like a boring mofo

It doesn't have ketchup in it you fucking moron. It HAS some of the same ingredients. What the fuck is wrong with you? Read the ingredients. You're not going to find KETCHUP on there.

i've seen that with white american cheese. i get chef salads and sometimes don't get around to eating them for a day or two. after sitting in the fridge certain pieces of the sliced white will get a wet, creamy gunk on the surface. i suspect whatever gelatinizes the ingredients to keep it solid are absorbing the moisture from the lettuce, or in OP's case, the moisture from the condiments (i suspect mustard).

and btw, fuck bread and butter pickles. does everything you stuff up that filthy scumhole of yours absolutely require that sugar be added to it?

That's some serious Autism you have there, Anon.

>mfw mayo seeps into white bread creating a soggy paste

I had to start making my own lunches at 11. I would tell my mother to stop letting the mayo touch the bread and she would comply for exactly one day and then I'd be back to Elmer's glue sandwiches.

just another reason to hate white bread

if I must make a sandwich. If I'm making something for work it'd probably be bean and cheese and egg with chorizo tacos wrapped in foil.

though usually I just eat a big breakfast and don't feel hungry till after work. Use the lunch break to smoke, get a drink, and take a break in general. Lunch isn't really something I do much. Maybe buy an apple for a buck or an avocado and chips and just eat that as a snack.
