why is it so hard to find a pizza place that does both pizza and wings well?

I don't know, but personally, I want those foods separately.

Because they are a shit food place and not a italian restaurant?

>> No.4199112

Because they're pizza places. It's also why you don't buy pasta from Pizza Hut.

But their pasta is delicious.

>Live in Upstate New Yawwk
>Pizza places on every corner
>Great pizza and wings errywhere
All about location.

>> No.4199564

Wings are fucking gross. Even god tier wings such as bon chon are merely mediocre.

Sage because the question is flawed.

>good pizza

Are you driving 8 hrs to Brooklyn or something?

don't buy the meaty marinara. not many people get it and it goes bad. i'll point out that it's bad to my manager and he says, "ah, it's fine," puts a bunch of cheese on it and throws it in the oven. either way it's really overpriced for fucking pasta.

Upstate means anything north of Midtown.

Again, it's all about location. I live in a really small italian town, pizza is literally the only thing they serve. We once had three different pizza restaurants across the street from one another. That shit was absolute god tier, the families that owned them were nice too. Going to any old pizza place sucks, gotta find the small business ones, those are always the best.

Have grandparents in Utica. Get large pizza and 50 wings every time I go up. Never found pizza or wings as good anywhere outside the city.

Mah nigga I live like 2 minutes from Utica. Areas really gone to shit, but the food is still great.

>> No.4199592

Utica in general is pretty shitty. New Hartford and New York Mills are much better towns. Hell, Even Herkimer is better than Utica.

>> No.4199595

>>4199592
>Herkimer
>Better than Utica
That's stretching it a bit much. Herkimer is too lower middle class redneck, Utica is just too ghetto now. New Hartford is great, just full of pompous fags.

It's anywhere beyond Metro North territory. Metro North still counts as Hudson Valley which is sort of not upstate, kind of.

At least its better than Little Falls. Things actually fucking happen.

It's such a sad little town, everybody that lives there just gets wasted at Turning Stone or something, there really isn't anything to the damn place. My cousin's friend's parents own a small restaurant in a back alley there, pretty damn good food and reasonably cheap.

>> No.4199635

To be honest they actually live in new Hartford. I say Utica cause not sure if anyone knows where I'd be talking about. And yes Utica is scary to drive through.

North Utica is kinda scary, but it's mainly posers trying to act like tough shit really.

Central New York is depressing as fuck.

>> No.4199698

>>4199650

The farmer's market has meat grown near Poughkeepsie. As far as I'm concerned if meat is grown somewhere, that makes it upstate.

So let's make it Croton Harmon. At least I think the line is electrified up to there. Electrified third rail or overhead catenary = civilization. Going somewhere requiring an onboard fuel source = the sticks.

Yeah, it really is. Hasn't really been anything special for over 40 years.
