Is apple cider vinegar any good with salad? Is there anyway you can make it good? Right now I use:

- 1 cup Red Wine Vinegar
- ~7/8 cup White Vinegar
- ~1/8 cup water
- 2-4 tbsp salt
- 2-4 tbsp pepper

And it's fabulous. If I used Apple Cider vinegar instead of Red Wine, how would it taste?

If you used apple instead of red wine, it'd taste different. It'd work and be good, but you can't really compare the two. I'll use apple cider vinegar, red wine vinegar, or balsamic vinegar for salad. The important thing is, where the fuck is your oil?

I use apple cider vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice and pepper on my salads. I've always stuck with acv for my saladial needs so iunno. Itd be different tasting, in a good way. GO FORTH AND EXPLORE YOUR TASTE BUDS CHAMP!

I made a dressing tonight:

- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
- garlic clove
- lemon zest
- passionfruit
- black pepper
- salt
- bit of honey and tarragon

A little weird but I liked it.

To save money. Why I want to switch to Apple Cider Vinegar.

I usually eat almonds before the salad or put cheese in the salad, so I leave out the EVOO to limit the cals.

Loved basalmic for a while, but it has sugar & fucking pricey.

I'll sub acv & maybe skip the white vinegar too. Thanks all.

Well I subbed it in:

WARM BACON DRESSING
Coarsely chop 1/3 pound sliced bacon. In a skillet over medium heat, saute bacon 6-7 minutes until crisp.

Stir in:

1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
Salt and pepper to taste
