Then there was an wildly successful IPO in 2006, all the investors doubled their money in one day, and McD cashed out for a massive profit. Now they're just another publicly traded chain restaurant maximizing shareholder value.

The one I go to, they once accidentally slightly (and I mean slight) tore the burritto when wrapping it cause there was so much stuff in there and they offered to put another one around it. I declined cause I didn't want 2 burrittos, It's already filling enough.

My only issue is I feel like they rush (even when it's not busy) like they are timed per customer or something. Also I like a little bit of lettuce on mine and sometimes it seems like that is asking too much.

Person who works at Chipotle here, back of the house though. Anyway we actually are on a bit of a timer, we aren't timed per customer but how many sales we make in an hour kind of thing. I also don't know about the stores you go to but we are also have extra cleaning and stuff to do because my store is a Restaurantour store aka one of the ones that have someone who knows what they are doing and enforce super high standards on us. You should ask if the stores you go to are Restaurantour stores. If it isn't I honestly wouldn't even bother to eat there.

ANYWAY, you can always ask them to put it in a different tortilla, they should lay the new one out and just put all of your old stuff in the new one. Just tell them you want a new tortilla but not double wrapped.

As for the lettuce thing, well seeing as I am back of the house I give the front of the house tons of shit for using to much taco lettuce on it. Simply because I have to cut all that shit and have other things to do then cut more of it. Even with my draconian hold on the taco lettuce they should give it to you no problem. Most of the time they just honestly forget about it, if they have moved onto the next person tell the cashier or whoever is expo that you want lettuce on it and they should remind the salsa person to put it on.

A lot of people recommend buying a burrito bowl and getting a tortilla with it and wrapping it yourself.

So I can get two tortillas with extra rice, beans, fajita veggies, salsa and cheese and that would be fine? That would be a monster burrito. Does double wrapped mean wrapping an already made burrito with another tortilla or what?

>> No.4169535

>>4169517
You sure can get all that with no extra charge. If they try to charge you call bull shit on that. Unless you are getting a whole fucking pan of fajita's they have no right to charge you extra, even then they shouldn't.

Double wrapped is when they start with two tortilla's, it makes it so it won't break and they can spread it out a bit more. I have seen them put, triple rice, double of both beans. fajita's, double chicken, double steak, all the salsa's and guac in a double wrapped burrito and nothing ripped. It pretty much gives you free license to put anything in there without the tortilla ripping, or if it does you never know because the second is there to catch it right off the bat.

Why would you get the bowl and just wrap it yourself? I hear it kind of annoys the people on the front line if you do that. Why would you do that when you can get all the extra stuff for free and have the people wrap it for you? It's not because it comes mixed because you can ask them to do that for you. Same price but less work this way.

>> No.4169542

Also if you REALLY want to annoy the front line ask for a queasarito or however you spell it. They make a quesadilla and then open it up and put the burrito fixings inside and then roll it up like a burrito, once again this is free. Be warned though! This rips fairly easily and if you do ask for it double wrapped then they can and will charge you for a quesadilla and a burrito! Just a quick heads up.

As for how many times a week to eat it.. Nutritional values and calories.. You probably shouldn't eat it too often. Its close to 100% of your sodium intake for the day in just 1burrito. Its about half your calories (2000 a day). I think its about 10 or 15% saturated fat and cholesterol for your daily intake.. And i think this is all before adding cheese.

Look, I was one of those "hurr durr its mexican mcdonalds" a few years back but I've drank the Kool Aid and it's actually not so bad. Also if they ever had a dog, it should be this one with a hat like this.

I was thinking along the lines of their chicken strips rather than their chicken sandwhich. It looks like a lot of food though either way. As far as "expensive" it can't be any more than Chipotle and I'd rather pay an extra dollar for decent quality than dollar menu quality.

That's beside the point. The point is that you can't justifiably call people plebs in a venue such as this that is built for a national/international audience when referring to a small regional based chain or stores.

Also to directly invalidate your point with specifics to this topic, about chains being the death of good food, his "La Bamba" has 15 locations, who is to say they have the same consistency in all of them?

by the way, you guys are all plebs for never having been to pizzaland. See what I did there...

short of actually having people wear sumbreos and singing la cuchracha, I don't think that they can get any more the real deal. The beans and rice are like mecian but made in murica so they don't have nasty weeboil, but now that would be really authentic.
