Here is the situation! I play WoW (I am in one of the top raiding guilds in the US) and my guild is having an IRL get together - we are having dinner at my place and I wanted to do something special.

For those of you that don't play WoW there are certain foods that you eat in game to gain certain "buffs", and before each raid we eat a "Fish Feast" (you can see the graphic in the picture) so I thought that it would be cool to make one in real life!

The problem here is that I don't really cook and I have no experience with fish beyond a Filet-O-Fish - I know this is going to be an undertaking but I figure it would be fun - I am meeting a girl from the guild for the first time also - we are sort of BF and GF in the game - she is Japanese so I figure she likes fish.

So I need to figure out which types of fish to serve, how to cook it and present it so it looks like the graphic in game. Any help is appreciated!

just go to the meat market and look at them. Pretty much any fish except the really odd ones pair well with citrus.

OP, bake a cake with cake mix, cut it in the shape of a fish and decorate it with coloured frosting to look like the fish. Everyone's happy, you look like a creating individual, you impress qt3.14 azn. Do it.

Make a Banquet of the Grill, Wok, Steamer, etc. It would be way cooler, up-to-date, and tastier than a platter with a grilled fish and some oranges.
