Already had our traditional NY meal: lentils with trotter sausages.
Traditionally, you eat it at midnight. The lentils are supposed to represent coins and the promise of wealth in the new year. The trotter sausage is just delicious.

well can you measure? in grams? maybe oz?
okay no you probably can't.
you need a ratio of 3 parts flour, 1 part butter, 2 parts liquid.
I did this
330g flour
7g salt
10g b.powder
5g b.soda
mix those up
113g aka 1 stick of butter frozen and grated with a box greater the big holes work best
mix again so that all three butter is coated with flour
