Yeah I hate huge grocery store refrigerator sections too, really unappealing with all that styrofoam and harsh lighting.

I go to a boutique butcher that has small quantities displayed on clean paper and two people behind the counter who really know their shit. Even if it wasn't high end heritage breed meat from reputable suppliers, just the presentation alone would be worth the small premium over regular shitty grocery stores.
