I make this at least 2 times a week, instead of soy sauce I use oyster sauce, it goes a longer way and tastes amazing with eggs. Also, if you don't have garlic, garlic salt works just as well.

>implying you're still here

Win7 64-bit, AMD Phenom II x4 925 2.8GHz, 4GB RAM, auto back up is disabled, used to run AVG, recently switched to MSE.

Every once in a while my comp gets a tendency to slow down to a crawl for a bit after starting it. I can hear the HDD writing for a 2-3 secs, then 2-3 secs silence, repeat for ~10-15 mins or untill my comp decides to either reboot fully or give me an error message and restart explorer.exe.

Formatting has always solved the issue, but moving ~1 TB of stuff to externals that use usb2 is suffering.

I've scanned with MBAM and MSE, both said my comp is fine.

Do I have to format? ;_;

chkdsk /f?

>> No.4098738

>>4098725

No idea what that does, I can use windows on a basic user level and that's about it.

Do I need to open a dos prompt and go "c:\>chkdsk /f"?

>> No.4098786

>>4098725

Just tried running chkdsk, I didn't manage to read all the info, but if something was fixed/in need of an action from my part I would've gotten a prompt right?

Still getting the slowdown after rebooting ;_;

I've done this one a couple times, it's going to be seriously underdone unless you do the last 5-7 minutes with it open.
