Howdy there /ck/.
I've got a hankering for spam, but I can't decide how to prepare it. I mean I could just slice it up and toss it on a skillet/microwave, but that's no fun. Maybe add a bit of oil to the pan to fry it?

Cut it into slices and pan fry it with a little butter or oil. Just a little, it's briny fatty stuff to begin with.

Frying Spam creates some pretty carcinogenic stuff. Not that it matters, the Spam will kill you long before the cancer and it definitely tastes best when fried.

fry spam and egg together then add a bit of soy sauce at the end if you wsh

Heat a non-stick skillet
slice spam into 4 pieces
add a tiny bit of fat to the skillet, oil, bacon fat, or non-stick spray
add hot sauce of your choosing in a thin coating on both sides of spam slices
grill until brown (wear goggles if you have a small kitchen, that hot sauce will will fuck you up as it heats)
drizzle spam with honey, cook until caramelized
top with a slice of mild cheddar cheese
serve on a whole grain bun with lettuce & tomato
