I have been looking at chocolate cookie recipes this morning.
They all seem to need a hand mixer. Is this really a big deal?

why do chocolate cookies always have gross white chocolate chips in them, it fucking ruins the cookie.

I thought those were nuts when I uploaded. I also hate white choc chips.
I will sub in walnuts or pecans.

could sub in macadamia nuts.

Not a big fan of Macadamias. I think I have just had too many stale/rancid ones over the years.
In a small town they are a crapshoot at best. Not much turnover of inventory.

normally its white chocolate and macadamia, except you cant taste the actually cookie or the nuts because you have the chalky bitter taste of not chocolate floating around in your mouth

If they're chalky then you're doing it wrong.

My chocolate macadamias are awesome.

Im talking about the taste of white chocolate itself

well the white chocolate I use isn't chalky. It's melted and spread throughout the batter with semi-sweet choc.

If you're beating the butter and sugar by hand the cookies will probably be denser, which may be desirable.

I like mine light and fluffy, so it takes a powered mixer to do it easy.

Hey /ck/ I need a sort of icing for my chocolate cake. But I don't have any cream or real chocolate. I do have cacao powder that is used to make chocolate milk. But I doubt that can be used for icing. Is there any other icing that might be possible?
