When I'm being lazy I make Red Chicken - one of my mothers "specialties".
Mix about equal parts of honey and ketchup, then cover chicken in it an either grill or bake, adding more as necessary.

Another mix would be mixing the ketchup and honey and dipping in fried or breaded chicken (which is way tastier).

I like to use ketchup and a few drops of hot sauce as a condiment for spicy meat pies. Ketchup is great as a base for a quick bbq sauce. I use it as a base for cocktail and chili sauce too.
