Sandwich pizzas.

Take bread, butter with tomato puree, sprinkle a bit of pizza seasoning there, put on some tuna, onion, salami, olives, pineapple, ham, or whatever else that you would use either as a pizza filling or a sandwich topping. Then sprinkle a generous amount of cheese on top, and bake in the oven for 10 minutes.

... sigh. Well, Moving along: stuffed mushrooms. Pop the stem off of mushrooms, fill with garlic cream cheese, wrap a slice of bacon around the cap to close the stem hole, and bake or grill for 10-15 minutes. Not necessarily the healthiest side dish, but I've never had any left over when I've made them, which speaks for itself.

A lot of the times I made two.

I'm so embarrassed to say this, but on nights when I just want to be lazy and play video games and drink, I LOVE a good Roma Pizza with a healthy squirt of some sriracha hot sauce on it.

It's flat and crispy and you can fold it in half and eat it like a massive pizza taco. Goes great with ANY booze.

....my mouth is watering now.

INGREDIENTS

2 T butter
1 loaf Italian white bread
1 lb bacon slices
1 jar of smooth peanut butter
1 jar of grape jelly

METHOD
Preheat the oven to 350F. Spread the butter generously all over all sides of the loaf. Place it on a baking sheet in the oven.

Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a bit of oil until it is crisp and drain it thoroughly on paper towels.

Remove the loaf from the oven when it is evenly browned, after approximately 15 minutes. Slice the loaf lengthwise and hollow out the interior, leaving as much bread along the walls as desired. Slather a thick layer of peanut butter in the cavity of the loaf and follow with another thick layer of grape jelly. Use lots of both.

Arrange the bacon slices inside the cavity, or, if desired, layer the bacon slivers between the peanut butter and jelly. Close the loaf, slice and eat.

Serves one if you're Elvis. Serves 8-10 if you're a regular person.

Butter one side of 2 pieces of bread, then buttered side down on a medium hot skillet. Meanwhile microwave Cheez Whiz jar until softened.

Add Whiz to one piece of bread then put other piece on top.

Once the bread is toasted as you like flip it rapidly to keep the heat up, but the charcoal down.

Pro tip: if you're tired of limp ass junkyard soggy swampy grilled cheese grease fest, or if you just like the crunch... Run your bread through the toaster, then apply a very thin coating of butter and cook as above. Very, very thin coating. Its more of a sunscreen than a browning agent since the toaster took care of that for you. Plus the toaster removes all the moisture from the bread, making it easier to crisp (but quicker to singe, be careful).

And eat the cheez whiz sammiches immediately, it tastes awful cold.

When I'm really lazy and don't have much ingredients, i take some tortilla chips, sprinkle cheese on top, (Norwegian white plain boring cheese), cut up some garlic, and spread it over the the chips, put it in the oven until the cheese is golden.
For dip i use generic salsa sauce mixed with "Rømme" It's like creme fraiche only thicker and better.

You don't really need to fry bacon in oil or butter, dude, it's full of grease from before.
Unless you have some fat free bacon or something, i don't know, America has everything.
