i don't have any recipe images saved to this comp, but i would like to help refine that satay recipe, the peanut sauce would pop so much more with palm sugar instead of brown sugar

In that case, here's a really popular steak dish I would make while I was working at at restaurant
Asian marinated flank steak:
>2 or 3 flank steaks
>1 bottle of red wine
>a cup of soy sacue
>1/2 cup of fish sauce
>6 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped
>thumb of ginger, peeled and grated

Marinate for at least 3 hours.

Heat a cast iron pan until it barely starts to smoke. press 6-8 oz cut steaks down on pan presentation side down, and gently press to ensure full browning on the surface. after a few minutes, flip the steaks, cut the heat, and move to a 400 F oven to finish. slice thinly against the grain and in a separate pan boil off a half cup of the marinade. after it starts to boil add heavy cream and mix well. fan out the cuts of meat and drizzle the creamsauce over.
