What is Ramsay's best show of all time?

>> No.3984873

I like the UK version of Kitchen Nightmares.

>> No.3984899

>>3984873
I'd have to agree with this anon.

>> No.3984900

The one where he yells at that guy is also very good.

This image is amusing to me.

>> No.3984936

the one where the food is raw

>> No.3984938

American Kitchen Nightmares or Hell's Kitchen by far, Gordo is only entertaining when he's screaming like a child throwing a temper tantrum.

>American Kitchen Nightmares
You really, really need to check out the original UK series.

>> No.3985023

The F word. I like to see him lose sometimes.

>> No.3985037

probably the F word, any American production he's been a part of just seems horribly overscripted

>> No.3985053

>>3985037
and overacted

>> No.3985066

it's kind of hackish, and a total rip off of bourdain's show, but Great Escape kept me quite entertained, can't wait until the asian episodes are on netflix

>> No.3985239

The F Word definitely.

I haven't seen The F Word yet, but I really liked Gordon's Great Escape.

>Gordo is only entertaining when he's screaming like a child throwing a temper tantrum.

Read what I typed again slowly, I even quoted myself for you.

>> No.3985447

The F Word is fucking terrible.

>> No.3985457

F Word and UK Kitchen Nightmares are really good.

British Ramsay >>> American Ramsay

>> No.3985477

>>3985461
American TV has always got to be about DRAMA. People can't get along for one minute, that's too boring for US audiences.

>> No.3985479

>>3985461

Doesn't even come close to the accepted stereotype about brits, which is the calm artistocratic type. Not a yelling pissed off guy. He's angry when that's the kind of show it is. He is acting now, even if he's a real cook

>> No.3985584

>>3985436
I read it again and it said this:
>I am a genuine retard.
Is that what you meant to say?

>> No.3985606

Hell's Kitchen while JP was still in it.

>> No.3985616

I don't know but good eats was pretty good

>> No.3985654

>>3985479

But he's a Scot. Their stereotype is angry and belligerent.

F Word or cookalong live, the little snippets of where he's learning how to cook other stuff is fun.

>> No.3986051

Well this is about preference, and I prefer the vids of him in what I assume is his home. Straight forward cooking without fake TV drama crap. If you don't know, see here:

>> No.3986069

The American version is no worse than the UK version, and he acts like a dickhead in the UK version plenty enough as well

>> No.3986101

The one where he mouths off to the wrong person and they shoot him in the face with a shotgun.

>> No.3986139

>>3986069
You're genuinely retarded. The American version uses lots of stock music and dopey sound effects to let the dumb audience know how to feel about the people involved in each episode.

The UK series is relaxed and plays like a mini-documentary. Of course there's manipulation there too, but it's not nearly as obvious and dumb as the Fox series.

>> No.3986146

Has /ck/ gotten a chance to see Gordon Behind Bars yet?

>> No.3986150

>>3986146
I watched some of it. It wasn't bad, but I think I wasn't down with spending so much time with a bunch of criminals. And the prison atmosphere is depressing. It definitely feels more Oz or Scared Straight than a Gordon Ramsay show.

>> No.3986151

>>3986069

Lol, not even close.

The UK version is presented in chronological order, so you can follow how things are going. The US version is randomly cut up out-of-order to maximize the drama.

Both versions feature Ramsay's trademark foul mouth, but the UK version also features the flipside of the coin: he spends a lot of time on leadership, motivation, and so on. The US version cuts out all that.

>> No.3986177

>>3986151
>>3986151
The knives are also censored in the UK version.

>> No.3986181

>>3984873
This.

He's actually a reasonable person trying his best to improve someone's kitchen and not playing up his asshole persona for ratings.

>> No.3986195

>>3986150

I wonder if he got the idea when some ex offender commy blew him out of the water doing prep work. Literally twice.

Also the US version is definitely geared toward retards who watches Fox News and needs menus with pictures instead of words.

>> No.3986220

All I'm saying is there's nothing wrong with the editing they do and by saying a show is shit because of it, you're just being a fussy little bitch trying not to be a part of anything that the people you don't like enjoy

If there was an alternative to breathing air, you'd carry a tank of that shit around and claim "air is for idiots, justin bieber fans breathe air" you hipster fuck

Looks like someone has a special insecurity that he likes to project onto others. It's not too late for you, prostitution is always an option.
