America here. Shit I dunno, by this point it is mostly your personal preference since there are many dishes in America. I guess related to my family cooking style this image. Germany here: Probably some Grützwurst/Tiegelwurst/Tote Oma (dead grandma).

It's blood sausage, rendered in a frying pan, with little bit of onions added. Sidedish would either be mashed potatos or fried potatos, and also Sauerkraut. It's such a perfectly german stereotypical meal.

I actually made this the other week just for shits. Not gonna lie and I feel ashamed for saying this but the stuff was damn addicting. I know it sounds absolutely vile but the ketchup and butter come together in such a surprisingly perfect way. Texture is creamy and the taste is subtle but not unflavorful. Hawaii here. There are a number of local dishes I always make sure people who come visit me try. Chief among these are kalua pig and poke, foods of the gods. Pictured: kalua pig. This is a peculiar presentation, though pretty. Generally this is served with two scoops of white rice and a scoop of macaroni salad. There is nothing on earth like kalua pig actually prepared right in an underground oven (a lot of places cheat and add artificial smoke flavoring to kitchen-cooked pork.) -Man- it's good.

From Italy, raised in Philippines and live in America.
Would introduce Italians to bihon guisado and lechon cebuano or American biscuits and collard greens. Would introduce Americans to paccheri alla genovese and torta caprese or tapsilog and lumpia.
