Nothing since it tastes like vinegar and if I want something that taste like vinegar I use vinegar

Raw oysters - that's it.
My Go-To is either Crystal or Louisiana Red Dot. I use Franks for hot-wings, Cholula for any mex or texmex, and Sriratcha for spicing up asian.

I use it anywhere I want vinegar and a bit of heat. Eggs are good. Collard greens and cabbage are excellent (although I prefer hot peppers in vinegar a.k.a. green pepper sauce).

My all-purpose sauce is Louisiana or Crystal.

Except I prefer Tapatio instead of Cholula.

Cholula is reddit-tier.

Yeah, I use Tapatio also... Cholula is usually more convenient as it's always in stock at my shitty little corner bodega.

tabasco is for fags. use tapatio or/and distilled white vinegar so you can control the flavoe

>> No.3942579

Honestly, original tabasco is the lowest tier of hot sauce. Any generic brand of cayenne and vinegar is far more versatile and much less pungent.

I'm not saying it tastes bad, it just doesn't pair with -anything-. Worth using on horrid or bland tasting food, though.

this is not true, I agree that tabasco is by no means the best hot sauce around but to say that any vinegar and cayenne combo equates to the same level of taste is an unabashed lie.

ausfag here

these threads get me mad jelly. our range of hot sauces here suck fucking balls. i do use tobasco, but we only have the original here. i use it on eggs, pizza (which i rarely eat any more), in sauces that need a kick, on rice (never eat any more), sometimes on fish or chicken that needs a kick... but most of all in some bloody fuckin' marys.

i actually found a place near me that carries El Yucateco. i bought their jalapeno sauce because i like the taste of jalapenos. its ok... not great. are there any El Yucateco brand sauces that are worth getting?

pic related is my favourite hot sauce. perfect blend of heat and flavour. and yes, it pairs so well with kangaroo. hard to find in australian stores but you can get it online.

Pretty much for everything. From drinking straight to putting on every food that i make.

Fuck you taste buds i have my decent hot sauce!

Only thing that saddens me is that i can't make a decent vindaloo otherwise i would be using that instead of resorting to tabasco

>> No.3942783

Put a drop on cheez-its or fill a shot glass and dip them.

Mix with ketchup, a1, bbq sauce, or mayo. Makes all of them instantantly better.
