Sup /ck/

I've been buying a lot of Clif Bars lately to use as a mid-day snack when I'm on campus. Unfortunately, the cheapest I can get them is ~$1.00 per bar. I want to look into making my own protein bars, which seems simple enough. Most recipes include:

>Oatz
>Peanut Butter
>Skim Milk

and some other misc stuff for flavoring. This is all well and good, but these bars are going to be in my backpack for probably a couple hours before consumed. I need to figure out some way to make bars that are easy enough to make but won't melt.

tl;dr: Need a protein bar recipe that won't melt. Help pls.

OP, go to Sam's Club if you really want 'em. They sell whole boxes of the stuff. I was at one yesterday, but didn't look at the price. Can't help with making a recipe, however.

just let them melt, it will be fine if you wrap them in wax paper.
