This is my favorite local non-chain "fast food" place.
Look at the menu and tell me what YOU would order, then post a link to your local favorite menu.

Nope. I immediately disregard any place with "California" in it's name. It has served me well.

>Armenian music on website
Yup. Definitely in California; Armos rarely ever leave that state.
Lemme mute my 'pooter and take a look at the site and let you know my choice(s).

>> No.3922996

Decent prices.
"where's the veggie burg....oh yeah, there it is".
Fuck you, California.

Yeah, that fucking music is annoying as hell. Those people make a goddamn good gyro though, and their burgers are stellar. I've tried their Monte Cristo once, and it was so fiendishly good, I can't order it anymore, because I'd eat it all and DIE.
Also, they sell baklava at the counter and Italian and French sodas.

Bacon chili cheeseburger with caramelised and raw onions, side of zucchini-onion rings (I assume it's a serving of fried zucchini and fried onion rings) and a bottle of zinf.

Also: I'm from Italy, but I have no idea what an "Italian soda" is (nor a French one, for that matter). Clue me in, please?

Well, in America, it's what we call a drink made from freshly mixed carbonated water and simple syrup (in different flavors). French soda is the same but with dairy (milk or cream) added. I'm sure it's inaccurate, but you know, we're American's so what do you expect, LOL.

Hey, you guys are supposed to link a menu to your favorite places! How are we supposed to have fun comparing?

We call that "squash" and say that it's British in origin, but it's pretty rare in Italy altogether.

Biscuits, gravy, and potatoes with pancake stack.

That is a very difficult question... So much good food around here.
Cafe de paris in oldtown Louisville has awesome crepes and salads as well as lattes.
Pumphouse brewery in Longmont, another salad.
The Huckleberry in oldtown Louisville... crepes, taters, and bacon.
Conor O'Niell's in Boulder for happy hour and dessert.
Azitra indian food near flatirons.
Kitchen next door in Boulder has grilled bread and kale chips.

Apart from that (I just looked at my recent check ins on Yelp) haven't eaten out much in the last couple months. Pretty boss at cooking in.

Oh!
The Market in Denver for breakfast.
D bar Desserts for savory and sweets.
Oshima Ramen on Hampden in Denver is a run down old ramen shop from the gods.
Fado in Denver for fish and chips and bread pudding.
Lucile's locations.
Le Central for mussels.
95A off of Arapahoe and 95th for tapas (mussels, calamari, grilled salmon, bacon wrapped dates).
Dushanbe in Boulder for tea and brunch.

Ah ok, good choices (I think, only been to about a third of those), but slow down and pick one and post a menu.

Have you tried Tortuga's in Longmont?

There's only three and all of them are in my city, so fuck you I'll still say it's non-chain (besides, one of them is only pizza and the other one is "to go").

I love dem burgers and fries with meat.

Local burrito place in Glasgow. What would you pick?

It's good. I go there for lunch sometimes.

The barbacoa is amazing

>> No.3923229

>>3923209
I'd have to go with a Barbacoa burrito, no rice, with the hottest hot sauce they have (because I'd bet it's not as hot as what we have here), and a side of guac and chips.
I don't mean to offend, but the menu is pretty pedestrian compared to what we get (I live in the southwest US), but I'd bet their barbacoa is better than the other meats they offer.

>> No.3923237

>>3923229
lol, fair enough. I guess it's natural that you'll have more choice that over here.

Also: Not sure about the spiciness thing. I tried the habanero salsa on my burrito one time, and my anus was burning for days afterwards.

Glasgow has some pretty spicy food from Indian/Pakistani immigrants though. We use it to offset the constant rain.

>We use it to offset the constant rain.

LOL.
I've always wanted to visit Scotland, actually. I enjoy gloomy, rainy weather. I grew up in an area where we had constant rain in the wintertime, and I miss it.
Actually, I'll probably be visiting Scotland sometime in the relatively near future for work. So, I'll have to keep an eye out for your spicy Indian/Paki food places. (I eat a lot of spicy food myself.)
