Shrimp Diablo (recipe I got from my past job as a line cook)

Ingrediants:
Shrimp
Flour
Red Pepper Flakes
Spicy Red Sauce (sorry I dont know what its called)
Butter
White Wine
Chicken Stock
Marinara
Olive oil
Angel Hair/Cappelini

Flour the Shrimp and cook in Olive Oil until both sides lightly golden add butter, Red Pepper Flakes. Add White Wine, let wine cook alcohol out, add Chicken Stock and let it reduce down into a sauce. Add Marinara and serve over some pasta. Voila enjoy ro/ck/star

Par-cook them.
Toss with fresh Mexican style salsa (or Italian salsa cruda).
Eat with toasts, tortillas or what have you.
Alternately, make kelaguen uhang.

that is wrong though.
all three of these animals are closely related crustaceans. crabs are not spiders. shrimp and lobsters are not parasites either.

>> No.3889833

>>3889827

but they're all arthropods, spiders and a lot of insects are arthropods as well.

you'd be surprised, do you know why a lot of cultures cook large spiders and insects? cause when they're cooked the insides are very similar to cooked crab or lobster. those people are glad western society is grossed out by eating bugs or else they'd become a commodity.

and did you know even as recently as the early 1900s in america, lobster and crab were considered poor people food? maine used to serve lobster to prisoners back then and they complained that is was cruel to be served seafood more than once a week. they used to literally get fed free lobster.

somehow this champ thinks pesticides just stick to the outside of fruits and vegetables

>> No.3889933

Marinate them and then grill them or pan-fry them. Marinades are under-utilized in shellfish because the flesh tends to cook, turning it into ceviche, before the marinade is really absorbed. The trick is to soften them up by soaking them in buttermilk for a few hours first, then rinse them off, and marinate them just until they begin turning opaque. Prawns marinated in italian dressing and basted with honey mustard are fucking amazing served over a bed of spinach. Or marinate them in a tomato herb and skewer with cubed squash, cherry tomatoes, and mushrooms.

It depends on the pesticide and application.
