I think the issue i had with that one was that the mashed potato wasn't very good. The texture was very gritty. However, the fried onion one of the same steakhouse line was really good. The patties were kind of interesting because they weren't burger king's usual round shape, they were almost square, like they were attempting to compete with wendy's.

Way back in the day Jack in the Box used to have these pizza pocket type things and I loved them as a kid.

Also does Taco Bell still not put green onions on anything? If so I miss Mexican Pizzas with green onions on top. They were important not just for the taste, but the color too. Last time I went to Taco Bell was shortly after they stopped serving green onions.

>> No.3885162

It will come back again soon enough, when some "brilliant" marketing guy at McDonalds comes up with the "brand new" idea that they compete directly with the Whopper, and as always it will fail miserably and be discontinued shortly thereafter.

Of course, you might hear it called a McDLT or Big Xtra, or Big N' Tasty, or Big Tasty, or Royal Deluxe, or McLean Deluxe, or The Boss, or some other nonsense, but it'll basically be he same thing. Go there now, there's a good chance they have one languishing on the menu now.

"and test products such as the company's Great American Burger, which was an attempt at a premium sandwich in 2003. It was made with a Whopper patty and several new ingredients, including a bakery-style bun; peppered bacon; whole-leaf, as opposed to shredded, lettuce; seasoned mustard; and a special sauce. The burger was served with American cheese, mayonnaise, tomato, and onions.[147] A similar burger was tested in Wisconsin in 1999. That Great American burger featured a single 8 oz (230 g) burger patty and different toppings. It was designed to be cooked on a forerunner of the current batch broiler"

No, it isn't. Besides, never officially a burger offered, therefore irrelevant in this thread.

Also, a McChicken isn't a burger, it's a chicken patty. Huge difference.

Tim Horton's used to have a Boston Cream Supreme.

Just the Bostom Cream donut with real whipped cream rather than custard. Back when they still baked everything fresh. They did a powdered version of it too.

Still miss that damn donut.

Oldfag here, in the late 70s/early 80s Hardee's and Imagine Carls had the best mushroom swiss burgers ever consumed at a fast food joint, also fast food roast beef sandwiches that crapped all over Arby's, I think both items were removed around the time Hardee's started selling fried chicken.

Cheeseburger pizza from domino's. Last I checked it was discontinued. It was around 2005 when I had it.I've missed it ever since. It was so good /ck/, hold me. Anyone know of another pizza place with cheeseburger pizza? Pic related, I THINK this is the one.
