Asparagus.

wild rice

cilantro-lime or rosemary/sage-bacon rice... maybe a risotto, maybe sticky rice with a bit of sesame

roasted potatoes

asparagus is a solid fit

a bit of crusty bread, maybe an slightly-out-of-the-ordinary salad (maybe a citrus-rosemary-balsamic vinaigrette with mostly crisp greens and veg)

All great suggestions, pulled the worlds out of my mouth.

yep, roasted potatos.

Peel, cut in half, bast in oil, sprinkle with coarse salt, season with rosemary and thyme and bake in the oven until they are delicious gold (around 45min at 200 celsius)

arugula and radish greens, tossed in a lemon poppy seed balsamic vinaigrette, specifically.

Yup, and throw some chèvre in that salad and some walnuts and/or maybe roasted red pepper, oh shit dawgz!

Or do Brussels sprouts with bacon.

Also, quinoa cooked in chicken or vegetable stock with a garlic clove or 2 is a good but safe alternative to wild rice. I throw diced asparagus into mine.

Grilled or roasted corn (no husk), really good tomatoes, avocado, and balsamic as a relish or side.

Roasted acorn squash with brown sugar and sage, cut into 4 pieces.

Throw some buere bland on that salmon ass ho. Or actually, miso glaze is the shit so do that.

Roasted asparagus

Cut the asparagus bunch into 2-3 inch pieces. Put in a bowl and toss with a little bit of olive oil, just enough to coat. Add kosher salt, garlic powder, and a touch of grated parmesan cheese.

Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 10-13 minutes, or until tender when pierced by a fork.

Add lemon pepper in substitute of parmesan cheese if you aren't in a cheese mood, or on a diet.

Should have added to place asparagus in one layer on a flat baking sheet. Sorry.
