Anyone tried this? I did. Shit was cash.

Although care needs to be taken on chilli choices. I went for those tiny little pepper shaped chillis with a sort of pale orange colour, from the middle eastern supermarket. It burned.

Fresh jalapenos next time I reckon.

Also mozzarela = master race with this recipe

Cheddar is quite a boring cheese

But then again, I'm a UKfag and have heard the cheese situation is pretty bad in the US.

oh my fucking GOD THIS LOOKS LIKE GOD FOOD. thank you much anon, i can only imagine how good this will taste. will make as soon as possible. i'll use buffalo mozzarella for the cheese and instead of bbq i think i'll use some el yucateco habanero sauce. i've not yet even tasted them but i know, i KNOW they will be amazing.

cheese in the UK is great... you can get pretty much any type of cheese from any part of europe in a typical supermarket

this recipe pic kinda made me realise how deprived of decent cheese amerifags are.. because they say "use good cheese, like cheddar" pretty much.

In the UK cheddar is your bog standard cheap as fuck cheese. It's kinda right at the bottom of cheese quality if I'm honest. You tend to mix it with other cheeses to pad things out if you're going for a particularly cheesy recipe.

No disrespect to the amerifags of course :)

I can assure you this recipe is every bit as epic as it looks

I recommend having it with some basmati rice that has been cooked in the correct way - see http://www.deliaonline.com/how-to-cook/rice-and-pasta/how-to-cook-perfect-rice.html

well there are different kinds of cheddar from mild to extra strong matured cheddar, but the basic taste is the same across the board

the flavour isnt that exciting imo. all about parmesan, goats cheese, gouda, boursin, smoked cheese.. the list goes on but cheddar is a pretty basic cheap cheese in the uk

It's entirely possible someone just likes cheddar, and thinks it's a good cheese, y'know.

that is possible i'll give you that. cheddar is not a bad cheese either. extra mature cheddar makes for the best macaroni cheese especially when you mix a bit of edam in there as well...

>> No.3815628

whats with all of this eurohate on cheddar? cheddar is a fucking english cheese. yea its nowhere near the best for just eating but it is versatile, inexpensive, and a decent enough tasting cheese. i know you poor fuckers aren't using fucking caciocavallo podolico ($650.00 per pound) on everything you cook. although you amusingly like to pretend like you do. you guys are really funny.

also as a UKfag i'm just saying we get a good selection of cheeses from different parts of europe in my country. none of the cheeses cost much either. but it's good to have a big selection of european cheese available. the french and italian cheese varieties are particularly good

I'm from Canada and we have all the same cheeses (cheese keeps well and is easy to ship), Cheddar is not considered a "good" cheese by anyone (though there are good cheddars) and is the standard, cheap, sandwich cheese.

Stop being a jackass.
