Pizza thread. Homemade only. Share your recipes. Here's mine.

For the dough, I use 500 grams of flour, 200 ml of hot water, 100 ml of olive oil, and 5 tsp. of salt. Knead until it's nice and smooth, roll out on a papered tray, add the sauce, bake at highest setting for 30 minutes. Add the rest of the toppings, bake for another 10 to 15 minutes. You'll notice the complete lack of yeast. I like my pizza thin and crispy.

For tarte flambée, I make a different dough. 500 grams of flour, 250 ml of pale beer, 50 grams of melted butter, 20 grams of fresh yeast, and 1 tsp. of salt. Mix flour and salt, then mix beer, butter and yeast until smooth. Pour the liquid into the flour, knead the shit out of it until it's no longer sticky. Let it raise for half an hour, roll it out on a tray, add the toppings. Spread crème fraîche (or sour cream) in a medium layer, add diced onions and ham, add a pinch of nutmeg. If you like the taste, add apple slices. Bake until golden brown.

Your turn, /ck/!

Wow the people of 4chan can be a bunch of faggots. Who gives a shit if she mentioned she have a boyfriend. Just share your pizza recipes if you have any rather than picking apart everything that you don't agree with. If her boyfriend wants to be a faggot and drink milk, let him fucking drink milk. Why does it even matter?

Yes. When I put it in the oven.

Corn meal helps to keep it from sticking to the surface. But I sometimes get annoyed at the texture, depending on how much is placed. Use some butter or even olive oil instead if you feel.

This is my dough recipe. I put anything on pizza. Proscuitto, capicollo, bacon, chicken, sausage, ground beef, asiago, parmesan, cheddar, mozza, bocconcini, feta, tomato, onion, banana pepper, pepperoncini, mushroom, bell pepper, sundried tomato, pesto etc. etc. etc.

I love making pizza, it is incredibly delicious

Pic related, pizza I made last week before cheese and cooking

Don't cook the proscuitto, it becomes way too salty. Rather put it on after the pizza has been in the oven.

Thanks for the tip, will do that if I do proscuitto again

Much preferred capicollo. Think I will do cap & another italian meat from my local italian deli. Love that place

Make margarita pizza's. They're relatively simple and super tasty. Good for practicing dough making and refining a pizza sauce recipe. Also buffalo mozzarella is your best friend.

Also with my dough recipe, I generally put a little less sugar in and add about a tablespoon of honey. Might sound strange but it's always made a really good dough for me.

>> No.3807486

>>3807476
Ok in terms of dough how relatively easy it that for no one with cooking experience? So far from what I see you need flour and yeast but are there any other simple alternatives to making dough?

>> No.3807493

>>3807486
Maybe watch an instructional video on Youtube to give you a rough idea on how it's made. Alternatively, if you have a bread maker, that should have a pizza dough setting which will do just fine for you and makes things super easy. Most bread makers would even come with fairly decent dough recipes. Dough doesn't really need to be fancy, so if you really want the easiest way of making dough just use the bread maker.

A real pizza, my good man, takes until it's finished. Pizza was invented as an indicator to show that the oven's ready for bread, back when there were no thermometers. Incidentally, every village in Europe has their own similar recipe.
