Just made this for my husband. Ribeye topped with shrimp. What does /ck/ think?

So you hate him?

Looks amazing, no sides though, so maybe add in a blowjob?

Damn, looks perfect. Nice job OP.

>> No.3792431

ruined it with the cheese

>> No.3792436

looks tasty. how did you cook the steak/shrimp?

two small critiques though.

i'd have skipped the cheese, but it looks like you didn't use very much, just enough to garnish.

add some sides to round out the meal. i'd suggest mashed redskins with roasted garlic or sour cream/chives. also some sort of veg, maybe grilled asparagus or a nice simple salad.

if i had a wife/girlfriend, i'd be very pleased if she made me this for supper.

Added a mixed greens salad with a homemade vinaigrette, but blowjob is totally not off the table.

The sprinkle of cheese was at his request. I can't say cheese and shrimp is one of my favorite pairings, but if it's what he likes...

>> No.3792443

Wtf possessed you to put cheese on top of shrimp that is on top of steak? Surf and turf is great but next time serve the shrimp as a side to the beef on a separate dish.

He will have a good sleep with all that protein to digest.
Takes lots of energy.
I'm sure he will enjoy it.

Personal preference, ect but I just don't get it

good girl. Sex isn't a fix for anything but too many couples have way too much pride and ego to really go out of their way to please someone like that. You sound like a wonderful spouse.

Smoked salmon and cream cheese isn't the same thing as shrimp on steak with a scant palmfull of shredded cheese tossed on top.

the point is that people say fish and cheese, fish and cheese, as though all fish and all cheese taste the same, its fucking stupid, thats literally like saying meat doesnt go good with fruit.

shrimp parm and honestly anything cooked in a tomato sauce, stuffed sole, stuffed crab,..really any shell fish, parmesan crusted salmon, tuna or lobster mac and cheese just off the top of my head.
plenty of fish go well with plenty of cheeses

The point is that shrimp with cheese on top of steak sounds disgusting. Again, serve the shrimp with what the fuck ever on the side.

How did he like it? Was it as tasty as it looks? I wish I had a wifey like you to make great food - you would earn many massages, footrubs, and house cleanings from me (._.)

Thanks again for the OC!

/ck/ are your marriages so terrible the thought of someone doing something nice for their husband sends you into a flying frenzy of spittle, anger, and retard?

>> No.3793477

Around here a popular dish served by many great Greek diners and slightly finer establishments is the "surf and turf" or a steak (usually tenderloin medallions) and butterflied shrimp with greek potatoes, pilaf rice (two starches is super common here), salad, veggies and garlic butter.

It's often the most expensive plate on these places' menu.

Butterflird shrimp, if I'm not mistaken, are just butterflied tiger shrimps or prawns au gratin with crumbs, butter, garlic, parsley, black pepper and maybe lemon juice/zest.

All in all it's very tasty and luxurious but the key is really the potatoes and the rice. Pilaf rice mixed with the soggy house salad is fucking epic, let me tell you.

>> No.3793592

>>3793429
I don't really think there are marriages involved at all for the people in question.

To be honest, /ck/ doesn't need marriages to be an issue at all to go into a retard rage. As >>3793377 oh-so-subtly made clear, anything that even remotely resembles decent-looking self-made food posted on the board is enough to make the little darlings that stalk the board flip their shit.
