greetings!
american living in germany here... going to a get-together this weekend and we all thought it would be a good idea to bring a dish from our homecountry. i'm thinking that stuffing would be a good idea.

favorite stuffing recipes? i'd like to impress... i kind of get a lot of shit about the quality of american cuisine.

dumping my animal gif folder

Kraft mac and cheese with hot dogs and enough bread crumbs to make it into a stuffing and some buttered bread crumbs and Kraft green can parm' plus those caned onion ring things for a crunchy topping....this will give it an authentic, classic merican' feel and taste.

Might want to try some kind of Southern BBQ recipe, or hell, even an Apple Pie. Just those things that make you think of the US.

You could do stuffing, but it's kind of strange on it's own.

Expect a lot of "what's that" and/ or "how do you eat that" for your... stuffing, whatever that is. Like, the stuff you put inside of turkeys on Thanksgiving, right?

I think you might be better off with something traditional such as, don't laugh,Mac & Cheese. No, we don't know Mac & Cheese. We also don't know apple pie the way you guys do it. OR bring blueberry pie with that kinda salty crust. I ate that in the USA for the first time and thought it was really delicious. Or pumpkin pie? 100% of the people you encounter on the street around here will not have had a single slice of pumpkin pie in their life. Still, expect them to look at it weird. Mind you, pumpkin is a vegetable for us and a lot don't even know what it tastes like.
