Natural casing dog, for that snap
Freshly steamed bun
All beef chili with the *right* spices
Diced onion
Extra yellow mustard

And a plate of chili cheese fries on the side, and a Faygo.

Chili, jalapeno slices, grated cheese, yellow mustard.

Also, the dogs are grilled until the skin is almost black.

Typical hotdogs are fucking disgusting. They're almost bearable when they have cheese in them.

Beef "hotdogs" and other assorted real sausage type deals are pretty good, though.

Hah! I didn't post that pic but yes and no.
Pink's is a LA landmark and has been in a ton of movies and TV shows. The one in PH is a corpratized clone and not exactly the same thing. It's certainly authorized and they may even had the same dog recipes but it's akin to the touring company of a hit Broadway musical.

These things are so good.

Apologies for mentioning the two in the same post, but best homemade hotdog I ever had was way back in the day I had some hotdogs that had cheese integrated. If you looked at the end of the hotdog after biting into it, you could see little dots of cheese, not sure how it got in there, but it was delicious. I made some later with Kraft slices and it was decent, but its so much better when the cheese is inside for some reason. The nature of the weiner I suppose... Always better when the garnish comes from inside rather than being slathered on top.

Hope that didn't come across too faggy.
