just think of what you like to eat at a restaurant.. or something your mom or someone cooks that you love.

now try and make that. keep doing it til you get it right.

then try making something else.

repeat this until you get good at cooking

My mom's a lazy ass who hasn't cooked in years. I've been pretty much living on pasta, ramen and raw vegetables and the occasional steak in frying pan for years.

I really do like Indian food however there are many spices required by recipes that I can't acquire.

I guess you need a bit of culinary knowledge to know a troll pic from a not so troll pic.

Having a bit of culinary knowledge, no superstar, just enough to get by, I deduced that the ingredients pictured in that recipe should come together to form a pleasant flavor. I made the recipe and just as I suspected, it was a pleasant flavor. It's not a troll pic.
