Let me expand the definition of soup, so I can answer the question.

>red beans and rice
>gumbo
>chili con carne
>chicken noodle soup
>vegetable soup
>beef roast

That's all I cook, but it fits in well with the groceries I buy. Nothing goes to waste.

I like a perfect tomato creme soup with croutons and a dab of creme fraishe, Hard to come by in the states.

I'd have to say gumbo, and not because everyone else is saying it. Chicken, crawfish, and andouille sausage of course.

Simple potato soup is also top-tier.

avgolemono soup

>> No.3701655

>>3701640
We call it either 'levistico' or 'sedano di montagna' (literally, 'celery of the mountain'). It has a flavour something like the halfway point between celery and parsley, but stronger, more pronounced and far less subtle than either.
It's delicious in chicken soup or to flavour roast chicken.

Hot and Sour soup at the chinaman joints. I think P.F Changs is about my favorite.

I don't really like soup. That will probably change when I move out though.

I'm Vietnamese, so I've had a lot of Asian soups. I prefer Western style soups though.

I prefer it because there isn't a bite and it's just soothing as hell. Like five mushroom soup. Or french onion soup.
