I live in northern California and we still have a few of the old style drive thru ones.

Their chili dogs are ok and I like their chili cheese fries for quick and easy. Definitely not something to eat all the time, just like all fast food.

If you love corndogs like I love corn dogs then its awesome. Their fries are pretty good too, but as for hot dogs I enjoy a super cheap dog fried In bacon, slashered with canned chili, and drizzled in free government cheese much better.

Also I was shocked to go to Europe and figure out what weinerschitzel actually is and be shocked that they don't even offer it @ Weinerschnitzel.

A few years ago, during their $0.25 hotdogs wednesdays, five friends ordered 100 hotdogs.

It was awesome. I don't remember the taste being too great, but hey that's not what it was about.

Veal in fancy restaurants.
Pork in real German households.
It's a poverty food. Get an incredibly tough, crap piece of meat, pound the shit out of it until it's tender, then roll it in potato meal to add bulk/hide the crappy way it looks. AND it tastes delicious.
