The pizza at my schools was always greasy floppy slop with cubes of mystery meat on it. Absolutely terrible. However, the seperate "pizza sticks" were regular pizza dough stuffed with a bunch of cheese and those were absolutely great.

I was on free lunch until I was a Junior in High School and my oldest brother turned 18. At that point, they said we 'made too much money' and I never had pizza at school again because a single slice was nearly $3. On free, you could get anything. On reduced, there was a small bar you were allowed to get at the reduced rate and everything else was full price. That bar was the kind of bullshit served in prisons.
