My mother made an amazing meat pie she would serve with buttery rice and peas. She also made an amazing rice pudding. I really miss her

I went on a school trip to Australia, and at the top of the Sydney tower there's a rotating restaurant at the top.
Even though it was 'only' the buffet, not the proper restaurant for the big shots, it was still insanely good. Best steaks I've ever had.

I am from the south and my grandma always cooks good soul food. The other day I went over and cleaned up the woods beside her house for her. She cooked lunch for me and it was the best I've had in a while. She made side meat (kinda like fatback) and thick cut bacon, both cooked well done, nice and crispy. Homemade cornbread, pinto beans and collards from her garden. It really hit the spot.

I worked at a sushi restaurant, we would have family meal at the end of the night. One time the owners wife came in, they were from thailand, idk why i mentioned that. Anyway, she spent hours before the end of the night make Pho from scratch, with all the fixings. OMFG. It was so fucking good. I literally felt GOOD, and ive never had a food coma like that before or since then.
