oh most definitely at some point. I think the usda set a threshold for bugs in processed foods and it isn't zero.

I've eaten chocolate covered crickets but they essentially tasted like crunchy chocolate
And roasted mealworms but those also kinda just tasted like the spice they used with a bit of crunchiness, essentially like gross looking novelty chips
I have no qualms with either, other than the exorbitant price

OP, I ride a bike 8-10 miles, 5 days a week for exercise/cardio. Not only do I eat bugs almost daily, I'm starting to look forward to it.

Yeah I tried silkworms, grasshoppers/locusts and protein bars made of ground up crickets. None of them taste good enough to be worth eating, but I don't have an innate revulsion to insects

The types of worms that infect grasshoppers are harmless for humans. Besides, you chew it up, those worms can't survive that.
