Why does a Steel Reserve buzz feel so good? It tastes like a bowl of Cheerios died

>a 24 oz can of steel was 1.20 in 2017
Can't even justify getting these today just to get drunk because they've basically tripled in price.

like what? i wouldn't eat it with any food

high gravity 8% - strong enough to really get you buzzed quickly drinking a whole 40, but not so strong or heavy that it makes you overly full or drunk like a high abv IPA or something
Steel Reserve is the scientifically perfect utilitarian method of getting buzzed or drunk, which combined with its low cost makes it the Steeler's Choice

is it though? a fifth of 40% abv vodka is like 8 bucks.

I used to drink 15 beers a day and never missed work. Plenty of people are mega alcoholics and you'd never even know it.

Ethanol-induced neuropathy causing a cessation of taste. In simpler terms, you could eat hot cow shit and chase it with your brainrot juice, and your only comment would be
>needs some salt

Kek. I'm the same way, but only because I don't enjoy puking up food after chugging three 42s of Steel Reserve.

You're not wrong. When i had drivers training in the army as an instructor and examiner I had a yeti with beer or a cup of coffee with whiskey in it every day for the 3 weeks of training. I was just in the commander seat so being a bit buzzed when i was trying to teach idiots to drive a 40 ton metal box helped. The smell of jet fuel, oil and hydraulic fluid covered the smell so no one ever knew.

right now on a sabbatical so crashing at my mom's place. gonna go back into data in a couple of months. I needed a break because I was working myself to death...plus the booze wasn't all too great for my physical health. surprisingly never affected my performance, and I drank strategically (i.e. right after work to a certain point) so I can wake up with nothing more than a light hangover that I can get over in a couple of hours before repeating the process

Put it into your chili or stew next time you're cooking. I'd add it in the deglazing stage to boil off some of that acidity though
