No ome working for major chains is going to hire people to post shit on the 4chan food and cooking board.
Just try to walk through all the steps thst would need to happen for that to come up.
Someone at one of those companies would need to decide "yeah, I want to boost my career by getting my reputable national name brand into 4chan."
Then that person would also need to decide "paid ads? Nah, Mountain Dew doesn't have the funds for that. I'll do covert viral ads through shitposts!"
And of course he'd need to think "tracking? No, I don't want any proof what I did caused an increase in sales. I will just wait for these shitposts to drive up business and then my bosses will accept on faith the revenue can be attributed to them and not any other reasons!"
Not to mention aside from all that 4chan is a surpringly low traffic social media site. So you'd be picking a site with low traffic, and the only social media one that has anonymity / no persistent user profiles as a core feature. And the one way you can get around that to track your ad results and show an ROI so you get credit at work for your campaign would be the paid ads option that OP would be turning down in favor of untracked shitpost persuasion.
You schizos just don't think. It's not brand employees doing this. It's young adult anime watching autists who like soda and fast food. This should be obvious but your brain is broken.

Call me crazy but real mountain dew is vastly inferior to the faygo and walmart knockoffs. Mountain dew tastes a lot sweeter, less fizzy, and has that weird oily shit added that makes it thick. The knockoffs have sharper acidity and more carbonation so you can actually drink more than two sips before putting it down with a contorted blegh expression on your face. One of the rare instances where the fake is super good and original is super bad. I can demolish 2L of mountain lightning with joy, but find it difficult to finish a 12oz can of mountain dew.

Literally not a single one who wasn't socially crippled enough to invest their time in them in the first place. You can't blame Japanese cartoons when the rot causing it is entirely ingrained in Western culture; women are idealized and propelled into influential positions while also being unassailable to criticism because they're apparently still the oppressed and downtrodden, and then throw in the normalization of pornography and so-called "fetishes" (which you aren't allowed to shame) on top of that.
