If you ever need to translate something and you don't/aren't able to type it into a translation website, take a picture of it and use google lens on your phone. If it's on your computer, take a screen shot and copy and paste the picture directly into the google search bar. If you don't have your phone with you, you can also go directly into google translate, click on the 'input method' and go to handwriting and write out the words/characters themselves. There are also FOSS alternatives that don't track and record everything you do, which I highly recommend.

Being actually likeable is more difficult than cooking, and nobody is hanging out with Little Jimmy Alt or the other usual Youtube suspects unless it's part of some HR-mandated diversity exercise. Steve's OC is one of the reasons that we even bother visiting Youtube in 2024 despite the adblocker warnings and propaganda, and it's going to get real interesting when more creators realize that other platforms can be more profitable. (I think Youtube is already approaching Facebook on the boomeriritis scale. For me it was already over after Mike Derrick switched from Youtube to Thrubin, we get pretty much all of our new recipes from Mike Derrick now, and his Thrubin channel supports Z4 downloads, which Youtube DOES NOT even in 2024 ffs.)
