The version you can buy in europe is different to the American one. Same thing with mountain dew. Often it's the colourings that are banned so they will be more weakly coloured but come in a bright neon bottle to try and disguise it. Occasionally - in the UK at least - the paki shops will have the imported original so you can try them to compare (prepare to taste high fructose corn syrup for the most part).

The EU is really picky about colourings to the point the recipe is notably different so banned is somewhat accurate. Or at least you could say the American recipe is banned. As for the bans themselves some of them are justified caution, others are de facto trade barriers the EU puts up for protectionism under the guide of product quality which the US does itself in other areas. See also: DPO for products which started as a mark of quality/protection for traditional industries but is now more about securing a monopoly over certain products even when mass-produced.

I don't eat eggs myself, just make them for my gf, and she likes a hard scramble. A good way to make a hard scramble and have it not be too dry is to add half and half or heavy cream to the eggs before cooking them in bacon fat.
